クオリティ・ホテル・ローズパークから連絡が来た。
正確にはSOLARsystemからのメールである。

UNABLE TO CONFIRM RESERVATION
Thankyou for using SOLARsystem.

We regret to inform you that SOLARsystem has been unable
to confirm your reservation.

Please visit our site again and reserve an alternative
property.

予約は受け付けられなかったようだ。
まあVillaは5部屋しかないらしいので仕方ないか。

クオリティ・ホテル・ローズパークで４人が宿泊できる部屋は、他に Premium Room という部屋があるらしい。

再度この部屋で申し込んでおいた。

続いてシャトー・オン・ザ・パークからの返事が来た。

thankyou for your inquiry, the rate would be $235.00+gst per night
per room.Please advise if you would like to book.

相変わらず愛想のないメールだ。
それにWebページのレートと値段が違うではないか。
Webページには　NZ$219.40 (incl GST) 　となっていた。それに対し、メールでは高い上に外税の表記になっているので、NZ$45も違う計算になる。
おまけにこちらが requests の欄に書いておいた、コネクティングルームやアーリーチェックインについても全く触れていない。
ついでに言うとカード番号までも返信メールに書いてある。どんなセキュリティ感覚をしているのやら。

ちょっとここはやめとこうかな。

予約はとれたようだ。

しかし本文を見ていくと、ホテル名の欄が、「Kingsgate Hotel Parnell」になっているではないか。「Quality Hotel Rose Park」に予約したはずなのに。

それにさっき断られたはずのTwo Bedroom Villaもリストに書いてあり、二重予約になっているようにも見える。

さらにここでもリクエストに対して一切触れていなかった。

う〜ん、なんか割りきれん。

メールはSOLARsystemから来ているが、Quality Hotel Rose Parkへ直接メールしてみることにした。

Dear Sirs:

I have some enquiries about my reservation.

I intended to reserve the "Quality Hotel Rose Park" , but in the reply
from SOLARsystem it writes that Property Name is "Kingsgate Hotel
Parnell".
Is the hotel which is called "Quality Hotel Rose Park" the same as the
hotel which is called "Kingsgate Hotel Parnell"?

I intended to reserve only "1 x Premium Room" , but "1 x Two Bedroom
Villa" is written concurrently in the reply from SOLARsystem.
I ask you for the reservation only for "1 x Premium Room".

I wrote "Beds are necessary for each children." in the "Additional
requests" column.
Could you accept this?
Is an addition charge necessary?
